DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS
The department of Physics is one of the oldest and established departments since 1946. The department has contributed towards cause and growth of the college by imparting quality education and carrying out sucessful research in novel frontiers of basic and applied science. Currently the department is functioning with faculty with doctrates in Physics and three technical staff. The research interest of the faculty are in the fields of X-ray crystallography and Polymer composites. The Department is an established research center under Visveswaraya Technological University with approved research guides, presently guiding research scholars.

The Department of Physics offers Engineering Physics and Engineering Physics Laboratory for the first year students across all branches of Engineering.
CURRICULUM
The syllabus and timetable for courses taught under the Undergraduate programmes have been designed to train students in the fundamentals of Engineering Physics.
