About Me:

Mohan Ram Ph.D., Associate Professor of Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at NIE, Mysuru. He holds B.Sc., B.E., M. Tech degrees and Ph.D., from IIT Bombay, Mumbai. His teaching experience spans over 32 years in NIE, handling different courses in Design, Manufacturing, Humanities and Management. He is member of Institution of engineers (AMIE) and Indian society of Technical Education (ISTE).Professor was a member of “Board of Examination” of  SJCE, Mysuru which is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) , Belagavi.

He has presented and published more than 30 technical papers in National and International Conferences and Journals.He has managed the NIE Valuation centre of ( VTU ) for over a decade during ( 1999 -2009) wherein state level valuation of all branches was conducted. He has also given lectures at Belagavi, Gulbarga, Mysuru and Bengaluru regional centres of VTU, regarding streamlining the examination process and the valuation work. 

Professor is involved extensively in Teaching, Research and Administration work in NIE. Being an active sportsman, a qualified cricket umpire,  he also appreciates classical music,  actively associated with  managing temple trust and cricket clubs.
