About Me:

Lavanya M S joined NIE as an Assistant Professor in September 2021. Being a quality-oriented professional, she has around 4 years of academic experience and 2 years of experience in Industry and Research.Her research interests include nanoelectronics, RF Communications, Microwave and Antenna. With apassion for teaching, she has tried to incorporate practical learning techniques in the classroom environment and has won third position and a cash prize in the NIE Faculty Conclave for introducing an innovative teaching-learning approach for first-year students. She has also coordinated and helped in organizing many departmental events such as the IEEE International Conference, National Project Exhibition, Value-Added Course for Research in Engineering, etc., has participated as a resource personfor Intra-Internship and Vocational Training courses on Digital Electronics and Robotics and helped in developing the curriculum for the Satellite Communication Course as per the new NEP 2021.

Along with Academics, Lavanya also has a keen interest in Indian Classical Music and would love to spend her free time in learning the art form.
