About Me: |
My research interests are in the area of thin film coatings, Synthesis & Characterization of Nanomaterials. I have been teaching subjects like Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials, Advanced Material Science, Nanotechnology for Energy and Environment, Nanosensors and Devices, Composite Materials and Applications, Introduction to Nanotechnology and Advanced Nano-Science and Technology for both Post graduate and under graduate students. I am a gold medallist and University 1st Rank holder in M.Tech Nano-Technology and a recipient of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund - Merit Award, New Delhi. I have almost 10 years of teaching experience and seven years of research experience at various labs like National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR – NAL), Bangalore and Centre for Nanotechnology, NIE, Mysuru. Presently I am working on Nano-Structured Thermal Barrier Coatings for Turbine Blades by PVD methods. |
