About Me:

Dr.Kavitha S S joined as Assistant Professor at NIE, on 16 Aug 2012. She has a total experience of 11 years in teaching field.  She has doctoral degree (part-time) in the area of Quantum computing under VTU with NIE as research centre.

Her research interest includes quantum circuit design and optimization, Quantum machine learning, digital VLSI design, E-waste management using automation tools. She has authored and co-authored several internationally referred journal and conferences. She serves as a reviewer for various reputed journals and conferences. She has delivered a talk on quantum computing in various colleges in and outside Karnataka. She has secured First rank with Gold medal in M.Tech VLSI design and embedded system at VTU in 2012 and outstanding achievements, awards in academics. She has been recognized as an IBM Qiskit Mentor in 2022 and currently serves as an IBM Qiskit Advocate.
