About Me: |
My primary areas of interest are in Materials Processing, Mechanical Behaviour of Materials and Materials Characterization with emphasis on High Temperature Ceramic Coatings. I have worked on wet-chemical synthesis methods and pressure less sintering of ceramic powders. I have extensively used XRD, SEM, TEM and EDS as characterization tools in my research career. I have hands on experience in Nano-Indentation, SPS and FIB techniques. I have experience in setting up of an air spray system and an oxy-acetylene torch to develop coatings and study their oxidation behaviour. I am also interested in Metallography and Ceramography. I have handled Fluid Mechanics, Materials Testing and Metallurgy laboratory classes for UG students. I worked with Vedanta Resources (HZL, Vizag) as Engineer Trainee after my B.E. I worked as Asst. Lecturer at NITK for a semester after my M.Tech. I worked as project associate for a project at IIT Madras during my Ph.D |
