About Me:

Dr. Vadivel Sengazhani Murugesan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering in the NIE, Mysore, joined in July 2020. He has finished his Ph.D. in Engineering Management in National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), School of Management, in November 2020. He has received his Master of Science (by Research) in Operations Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) in 2015, Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering in Government of Technology, Anna University - Coimbatore in 2011, Tamil Nadu. He also attained his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2009 from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. Tamil Nadu. He has over six years of Industrial experience in various manufacturing industries and three years of teaching and seven years of Research experience. His research interests include Operations and Production Management, Lean Service and Sustainability, Workplace Ergonomics, Supply Chain Management, Facility Planning and Design, and MCDM methods. He published 15 various international and national journals and participated in 17 International conferences. He won the best paper award in NUS Singapore on Sept.28-30,2018. He is a life member of the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) and Society of Operations Management (SOM).
