About Me:

Completed PhD in Solid State Physics from Dept. of Physics, University Siegen, Siegen, Germany. Under my doctorate studies I had worked on pai -conjugated polymer, P3HT. followed by two postdoctoral work at University Bayreuth, Bayreuth, Germany and Atomic Energy Commission of France, Saclay, France. At Present, I am Heading the Centre for Nanotechnology as well as the Nanotechnology course coordinator under Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIE, Mysore.

My primary research goals are directed toward understanding the role of structure and morphology on the properties of Advanced Functional Polymers and Inorganic semiconducting materials. It will cover the structure properties, Materials Science, Surface Interface Science, metal oxides sensors, Soft Matter Physics, Nanoscience, via various solution processable methods like self-assembly, spin coating, drop casting, dip coating, hydrothermal and chemical bath deposition techniques. I have obtained hands-on-experience with techniques such as SEM, AFM, XRD (lab based), XRD (synchrotron source based), X-ray reflectivity, XPS, UV, Profilometer, Cyclic Voltammeter, Electro grafting.
