About Me:

My primary research interests are in the area of image processing and multicore systems.  I am also interested in Quantum computing.  I have built a parallel computer (message passing type) with know how from IISc, Bangalore, Bengaluru.  I was part of team that built interfaces to test printer for L&T. I use and advocate free and opensource software.  Have 23 years of experience in academic and 10 years in Industry. I have chaired a good number of conferences and am referee for conference and journal papers.  Was involved in conducting faculty development programs an workshops for the students.  I have delivered a number of lectures in workshops, conferences, faculty development programs. I have evaluated PhD thesises and am examiner of PhD defence. I am recipient of distinguished alumnus from SDM College of engineering, Dharwad in 2009.

I do like music (typically hidustani classic) and Kannada literature.  Love to devote my free time for these.
