The National Institute of Engineering

NIE and NIEIT MERGER

Effective, 1st August 2022, NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT), Koorgalli, Mysuru has been merged with NIE, Mysuru.

Henceforth, NIEIT would be called National Institute of Engineering-North Campus (NIE North).  The Present National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Manandavadi Road would be called National Institute of Engineering-South Campus (NIE South).

Students in NIEIT, currently pursuing 2nd, 3rd and Final year Engineering would graduate from NIE-North Campus and NIEIT would progressively close.

Students in NIE, currently pursuing 2nd, 3rd and Final year Engineering would graduate from NIE-South Campus.

All P.G (M.Tech) programs would continue to be offered from the NIE-South Campus.

MCA program, currently being offered from NIE-South campus, would move to the NIE-North campus from Academic Year 2022-2023.

NIE now has two campuses: NIE-South and NIE-North.
