Title

Electrical/Electronics/Computer & High Voltage Engineering in Medical & Healthcare Systems

Abstract

Our body is electric. We can elicit both diagnostic and therapeutic responses using electrical pulses of appropriate magnitude and frequency (X-rays for diagnosis and radiation for treatment). So, it makes sense to use electrical pulses, with/out chemo drug for inoperable, advanced cancer, the emperor of all diseases. Despite all the biomolecular, genomics, proteomics, and other advances in biology, there were ~10 million cancer deaths in 2021, indicating that cancer, an ancient disease is still alive and well, needing all our sophisticated, state-of-the-art advancements and technologies to treat it. There is artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in medical and healthcare, including breast cancer, depression and other. Medical and healthcare systems are multidisciplinary, and the need for the synergy of various modalities cannot be overrated. Presented in this talk will be the numerous applications of electrical, electronics, computer, communications, and high voltage engineering for treating cancer and ther diseases.
