Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme
TEQIP Phase III is fully integrated with the Twelfth Five-year Plan objectives for Technical Education, focusing on improving engineering education quality in low-income and special category states.
The project targets approximately 200 government and government-aided AICTE-approved engineering institutions, including constituent university departments and centrally-funded institutions. It operates as a Central Sector Scheme providing 100% grant funding through India's Ministry of Human Resource Development.
NIE Mysuru is a participating institution under TEQIP Phase III, implementing various quality improvement initiatives across academics, research, and infrastructure.

Conferences on communications, signal processing, IoT, and advanced computing.
Infrastructure Enhancement
Laboratory upgrades and procurement of modern equipment under TEQIP funding.
Industry Collaboration
Partnerships with industry for curriculum development and practical exposure.
