PhD Admission Process
Eligibility
M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. / MCA with first class (60% or 6.5 CGPA) from a recognised university. Valid GATE / NET score is preferred.
Application
Apply through VTU portal during the open admission window. Submit research proposal, academic transcripts, and supervisor consent.
Entrance & Interview
Appear for the VTU PhD entrance test (if no GATE/NET). Attend the departmental research interview with your proposed supervisor.
Registration
Upon selection, register as a Full-Time or Part-Time PhD scholar under VTU regulations. Coursework begins in the first semester.
